Our Story

A path to sustainable prosperity

Chibwika Chiefdom sits in Mwinilunga District at the meeting point of three nations — Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Angola — within the historic Lunda Kingdom.

For generations, our people have lived from the abundance of these lands. Thirteen perennial rivers carry water through fertile plains and forested hills. Cassava, maize, beans, groundnuts and sweet potatoes grow well here, feeding Mwinilunga and the wider region.

Today, Chibwika stands at the threshold of a new chapter — one in which our agricultural strengths are matched by value addition, our young people find opportunity at home, and our women's groups lead enterprises that transform households and communities.
